The safe transport of our clients' crews and equipment is our number one priority. Y&S Marine implements best practices and ongoing personnel training to ensure the maximum security and reliability.
Our custom-developed behavior-based safety program, SHARK (Safely Heightening Actions by Review and Knowledge), enables us to meticulously document the activities of our team members, customers and vendors. We then carefully assess this data in order to identify areas of at-risk behavior. It’s a scientific approach that has yielded consistently positive results.
In support of the SHARK program, each employee undergoes continuing education and training at levels that exceed the requirements of USCG, OSHA, MMS, DOT and other federal, state and local entities. Thanks to these efforts, and to over 219,000 man-hours that are logged annually by our staff, Y&S Marine crews are able to work in the roughest seas and the most inclement weather while maximizing safety and minimizing incidents.
